Consultancy retainer

Believe it or not but I did not set out to become a Consultant. A few years ago when I found myself at a professional crossroad, I started to post content on LinkedIn. It was a time when LinkedIn was transforming from a boring yawn yawn platform into an amazing platform full of real people with real stories. That was where I found my voice. I couldn’t stop talking about Marketing, the QSR sector and my personal views on family and life.

QSR brands started to pay attention and the rest is history!

I find that my clients value the following from me:

  • My experience and 17+ years of marketing knowledge. They appreciate having a Marketing Director level consultant on their side. Probably because I act as if I’m in their business and do not stay at the peripheral!

  • Store launches that attracts a crowd. They appreciate that I’ve had to open many stores before and have created a template on how to launch a store that really makes an impact.

  • Brand development knowledge and experience. They appreciate that I can develop a Brand Framework to roadmap their consumer brand. And then work with external agencies to bring the brand and persona to life from creatives to architects.

  • Customer Retention and Loyalty. They appreciate my technical knowledge about customers databases and loyalty platforms. But perhaps mostly my deep understanding about why and how to keep customers coming back.

  • Customer Experience Design. They appreciate my intimate understanding about what is really required to provide a customer experience that can drive customer retention. And also my ability to design the experience so that customer experience is not left to chance.

speaking engagements and workshops

As an introvert speaking in front of a group a people is probably one of my worse fears! Yet I’ve managed to successfully deliver paid speaking engagements from in front of 50+ franchisees to smaller intimate workshops of 20 business owners. As long as I’m talking about Marketing, I’m all good!

Other things i’m brewing

What I’ve been dreaming about is being able to help as many independent cafe or restaurant owners. But I’m challenged with limited capacity. Right now I’m putting together an eBook:

  • How to relaunch your store post COVID-19

  • How to attract a crowd at your store launch

I would like to turn these into more comprehensive online training courses which will have access to a closed Facebook group and of course myself.
